Wonderful grain from Lee Valley Park Elm and having made one bowl from this log I knew I had to continue to complete a set - in my mind a pretty little Elm collection.

Full description
Bowl for soup, puddings, cereals & snacks. Like all my bowls this is so useful for hot and cold food, easy to wash and the patina will just grow with use and age. This one has glorious figuring to the grain and I've complemented that with long sweeps of my chisels to give a flowing design profile that echos the grain. I've carved a single line around the outer rim with a very fine chisel tip and then burnt the groove using only friction to give a stylish black line detail. Measures 14cm in diameter and is 5cm high.
