As a textile artist I sketch and design with paints, pencils and fabric. Some of the card designs come from sketchbook work, others from experiments with fabric and threads. I also use natural dyes to colour fabrics and turn my dyed results into repeat patterns using the computer. Some of these designs are also represented in the card designs.
