Full description
A beautiful fused glass big eyed fish to hang in the window, in the garden or against a wall, in fact anywhere inside or outside the home!
Designed and handmade in my home studio in Hertfordshire these smaller fish measure 8cm x 6.5cm approximately although as each is handmade every one may differ slightly from another.
The body is hand cut and made from 2 pieces of glass fused together. After the glass is cleaned, the top layer is hand sifted over the two pieces of glass with different coloured glass grains to give the graduated coloured effect. The fish is then carefully placed on a kiln shelf and fired. After the kiln has cooled the fish is drilled to enable hanging and the silver coloured ring is added for the eye.
This lovely fish would make a great gift for a friend or family member and is especially popular with my customers who live near the sea.
It comes in a Kraft brown box and threaded with silver coloured wire for easy hanging.
