Full description
A hand thrown round plaque or coaster measuring 10.5cm diameter with a stencilled fish design in satin matte glaze.
The design was drawn by Annette and from this drawing an adhesive stencil was made. Three coats of glaze were painted carefully into the outlines to colour the image. Once the glaze was dry the stencil was removed to leave an un-glazed outline, which when kiln-fired leaves the image outlined in the off-white colour of the vitrified clay.
