I paint subjects that I'm passionate about. One such passion is the natural world. I became interested in bird watching when at primary school and till this day usually carry binoculars when out walking. I enjoy painting birds especially the more common garden birds and trying different styles and approaches. This starling is one of my more highly finished and detailed watercolours.
