Full description
A delicate Silver pendant in celebration of "The Silver Darlings" an Orcadian name for Herring. The herring fishing had its boom in Orkney in the late 1800-1900's. also the name of a music group from Stronsay. The Stronsay Silver Darlings. The pendant measures 45 mm at its longest. The largest of the fish has enamelled scales. Topaz is 4 mm. Colours of scales will vary ever so slightly.
