Full description
The felt used to make this brooch has been wet felted using multicoloured corriedale woollen fibres embellished with various silk fibres. Included in Seconds Sunday as an end of line item.
The resulting felt has been cut and stitched in a spiral shape. Sparkly gold thread has been sewn along the edges in a blanket stitch. The brooch has been backed with grey commercial felt and an antique bronze coloured flower with a golden yellow half pearl at its centre has been added. A silver tone brooch pin has been added to the reverse.
The brooch is slightly conical in shape and measures approximately 6cm (2.3") diameter.

Please note: due to the handmade nature of the felt, no two brooches are the same. I have several of these brooches available and one will be sent at random and may not be the one pictured in the photographs.
