This little piece of sea smoothed pottery, found from the Kent shores is gilded at the edges with silver leaf and sealed with shellac. The brooch pin is securely attached with resin. Measures 3cm by 2.5cm.

I love collecting little treasures from the Kent shores, old beach pottery, glass and shells. Much of the pottery was thrown from piers during times past and has been smoothed and shaped by the sea. I transform them into a lovely keepsakes with a bit of history.
