Full description
This beautiful small pendant features a copper wire tree of life design on an oval stone. I've wrapped fine copper wire onto a frame, twisting the lengths to form the tree of life, or world tree. Roots fan out across the bottom of the stone up to a twisted trunk, which then splits out into branches - the shape said to symbolise the connection between all life. I've finished it off with a simple twisted copper bail to compliment the twisted tree.
The stone itself a dark blue with paler & gold streaks through it which are slightly glittery. I believe it to be a synthetic or man-made Lapis Lazuli, rather than a natural mined stone.
I've oxidised the pendant & then polished it with a brass brush to bring depth to the wire work. It comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant itself measures 3.5cm long from top of bail, just under 2cm across & approx 1cm deep.
The pendant will be posted out first class, in a 100% recycled (& recyclable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
