I have a long running series of work based on Devon legends regarding witch craft and folk law and this piece is based on the records of a local Wise Man called Old Tom who lived just outside Exeter in the 19th Century. He was renound for offering advice and tinctures for his clients who sort him out to help with their woes. I imagined what advice he would have to us today and I think he would tell us to reconnect with nature and to Look Up at the trees and the sun and the sky

Full description
This gorgeous stained glass panel is a one off piece of original art. Hand painted and kiln fired with glass enamels by the artist. There is much rich detail of teasels seed heads, honesty and tree branches depicted in the blue, purple, green and amber glass. The daisy embossed glass is vintage pressed glass salvaged from a restoration and adds some texture to the smooth streaky and painted pieces.
The panel is made using traditional leading techniques, just like in a church window and will look wonderful hanging or leaning in a sunny window or against a white wall.
The panel is apprx 40 cm x 40 cm and comes with hanging hooks and thick clear cord to hang. Postage and packing included in the price
