I designed this hooded scarf so that it could be knitted in one piece, while creating the interesting shaped scarf-ends. It was knitted in Moss stitch, which gives it a satisfying textured feel. The wool that I spun for the project is 'Jacobs', a rare breed from a farm animal rescue centre. I call the scarf style 'Simba', after one of the dogs I used to have years ago when I lived in Orkney. I like to name my designs after the various pets I've had - it's a lovely way to remember them.

Full description
Hooded Scarf, knitted on the diagonal, giving pointed ends to the scarf, using handspun wool from the rare breed Jacobs Sheep, which gives the two-tone colouring. Measurements: Hood length approx. 14" at the back, scarf length approx 26". Please note that the size of knitted items will vary depending on conditions and handling. Hand-wash with care - washing instructions included with the item.
