I'm not normally a fan of orange, but this Oriental style print is simply gorgeous with its rich autumnal pattern of paeonies in shades of cream, peach, orange and taupe, highlighted with metallic gold. To set this lovely fabric off, I've used a piece of gold coloured chenille for the contrast bands and handles, with a lining of dark cream cotton patterned with tiny spots and hearts, and finished it all off with a pair of coordinating layered buttons.
Inside the bag has a roomy main compartment with a zipped pocket, slip pocket and handy key hook on contrasting ribbon so it's always easy to find. Fastening with a magnetic clasp this lightweight bag can be carried on the arm or shoulder. The relatively short handles (20 inches / 51 cm) means it tucks securely under the arm when carried on the shoulder. There is a layer of fusible fleece interfacing between the outer fabric and lining to give the bag a soft structure.
Dimensions(approximate): 31 cm wide (at base), 23 cm high (not including handles), 8 cm deep (at base).
