'Magic in the grass' offers a friendly and personal service combined with fresh designs and quality craftsmanship.
Nikki has been creating beautiful jewellery using traditional, as well as more modern Silversmith techniques for over ten years now, first opening the gates to 'Magic in the grass' in 2009.
Working from our studio based in the Yorkshire Dales, Nikki takes inspiration from the world around. We believe that beauty is everywhere if you open your eyes and your heart!

Full description
Beauty is everywhere if you open your eyes and your heart, and as I wander the Yorkshire Dales I'm grabbing inspiration from wherever I can.
I bring leaves and foliage home and make moulds, which are then used with fine Silver to recreate the gift that was given by nature, to form a piece that will last forever...
This necklace however was created using a seedling that I grew from chilli seeds. I pressed the mould when it's first shoots appeared, and then I returned the seedling to the pot of soil...no plants were harmed in the making of this necklace! This teeny shoot is a great reminder that great things come from small beginnings.
The 'Botanical' collection is organic by nature. Each piece flaunts the characteristics of the fine Silver clay that I use. There may be dimples, cracks and other textures that I often enhance with an oxidising solution to create a real piece of tactile jewellery with personality.
Your Silver pendant measures around 16mm in diameter, and sits on a 45cm Sterling Silver chain.
Your handmade, nature-inspired necklace will arrive in our signature recyled gift box, in a bed of (faux) grass.
