Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! My shop is currently closed while I move house. I plan to be open again by the end of July (WiFi willing!) and will be reading messages throughout, except the week of 15th July. In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

When my smaller coin purse is still a bit too large, this one should be perfect! The original design for this little folding pouch is by Rashida Coleman-Hale, but I've given it a few tweaks of my own too.
The outer of the pouches are made with some of my favourite Liberty Art tana lawn prints and the inners with Robert Kaufman’s Essex Linens – so cute! I made one of these little pouches for myself first and always use it when I’m on the road with my knitting or crochet – it is just the right size for a little pair of scissors and all the other little essentials you might need on the go. As well as using it as a little purse (cards fit in there easily) or a notions pouch, it would also be great for carrying business cards, ear buds / pods, mini essentials like lip balms or tampons

Full description
The outer and lining of the pouch have both been interfaced with woven cotton and the outer also has a layer of fleece added for a little padding. The pouch is mainly machine stitched and top stitched, but the 'tray' shape is made by hand stitching the edges together. The finishing touch is the addition of a couple of metal press studs to keep everything secure inside. Please note that all of these pouches are lined with Essex Linen with added metallic thread, except the Katie & Millie one, in case that is or isn't your thing!
If you like the style of the pouch but would like it made with different fabrics, just drop me a line and I'll custom make one for you, if I have your chosen fabrics available at the time. Please keep in mind that the best type of print for this purse is a small scale, non-directional one and it works best with fine lawn fabrics like these. Please note, the Meadow Sweet option is no longer available..
