Shop Announcement:

Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).

In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to Europe, the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation.

Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Most items over £15 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here:, my facebook page here: and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here:

You can subscribe to my newsletter to hear about new designs and offers and to be notified when my shop is fully stocked!

Tilda Fox figures in Liberty Tana Lawn dresses, based on Jane Austen characters

Tilda Fox figures in Liberty Tana Lawn dresses, based on Jane Austen characters

Love this

Standing 15.5 inches (40cm) tall, the Miss Foxes are machine stitched and hand finished using quality Tilda cotton and filled with high loft fire retardant polyester stuffing. Their faces are created with embroidery cotton, fabric paint and ink, and they all wear a Liberty Tana Lawn dress with a pleated hem and satin ribbon ruffle brooch (except Miss Catherine, who refuses to choose just one colour!). The dress is all hand stitched and the print used can vary depending on what is available at the time of making, but will always be Liberty Lawn in the character's colour.

The Miss Foxes are based on patterns created by the Norwegian designer, Tone Finnanger and are not suitable as toys for children - they are for decoration purposes only. Their arms and legs can be repositioned and you can display them standing or sitting against a wall, on a display stand, or on a shelf.

I make these to order only and, if you're buying a figure as a gift, I'm happy to include a gift card, hand write your gift message and send direct to a recipient, if you'd like.

The shipping costs shown for this item include the 'signed for' service in the UK and a tracking service for International orders. Please note that I do automatically refund postal cost overages for international items.

My Miss Foxes are decorative figures based on the characters created by Jane Austen, in her novels.

From Pride & Prejudice, Miss Jane Fox wears yellow, Miss Elizabeth is in blue, Miss Mary in green, Miss Kitty in Orange and last (but certainly not least!), Miss Lydia is in red.

From Sense & Sensibility, Miss Eleanor wears the indigo or dark blue print and Miss Marianne is in Violet.

From Emma, Miss Emma Fox wears pink and from Northanger Abbey, Miss Catherine Fox loves to wear blue and pink together.

You can see and read about each of the characters in more detail under their own separate listings in my shop.
