This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a gorgeous star shaped 5 petal flower with each petal split into 2. Both sides are streaky green blue but one side of each petal is a gorgeous iridescent glass with a magical sheen. Between each petal I've soldered a multifaceted little twinkly crystal and there's one in the centre of the flower as well.
This would make a beautiful present for anyone as it is in such gorgeous shades of blue.
This flower looks really lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light all year round.
It is 12cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain securely attached to the top of the flower.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
I also have a rose red and a blue version which are shown together with this one in the last photo and they are available as separate listings.
My suncatchers make super presents and are also really good when hanging in french or conservatory windows to stop the birds flying into the glass.
If you would prefer another colour scheme then please contact me and I will make you one.
I started with a Mandala idea and then it somehow changed into a pretty flower, then a starry effect. Amazing what happens when your imagination is allowed to run wild.
