I love letting my imagination run away with me and as I rummage through my large wicker basket full of my collection of fabrics I feel drawn to a particular fabric which I feel I would like to use as each doll's dress. I have a pretty hat box full of lace and ribbons which I search through to add details.
I added the applique to this little handmade doll's dress, to bring a little bit of texture.
I have been making fabric collage panels for a journal for a personal project of my own and have been experimenting with placing scraps for applique and using beads and buttons and lace, so I thought it would be pretty to add an element of this to Lily.
