Wanga dolls are traditionally regarded as the cousins of the voodoo doll but are traditionally used as a positive force in a person's life. The colours used all have a meaning for example green is for money, red is to attract love and lust yellow or gold for success and so on. Each combination or variation of colour has a meaning. They are traditionally bedecked with ribbons buttons and beads feathers pieces of material etc to attract a good spirit to work on your behalf.
