I am trying to live life in general, and crafting life in particular, according to the Reduce Reuse Recycle mantra. From now on, new items stitched from recycled materials will be listed here. Vintage linens and fabrics, re-stitched into unique gifts and accessories, may still be found at my second Folksy shop 'LynwoodcraftsRecycled', however these will gradually be moving over to this Lynwoodcrafts shop .
A pretty spring brooch featuring tiny embroidered sheep and trees festooned with pink blossom, on an appliqued landscape.
The background of the brooch has been hand appliqued, using scraps of printed cotton fabric, with details added by embroidery in wools and cotton threads.
The back of the brooch is neatened with 'eco' felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
diameter - 5.5 cm approx.
Please note: items from Lynwoodcrafts are intended for adults. This item is unsuitable for children as it contains a sharp pin and small parts may represent a choking hazard to children under 36 months.
Items of embroidered jewellery may not be colourfast - care should be taken to remove them from clothing before washing.
One of a growing series of embroidered brooches featuring tiny sheep.
