Steampunk meets the ocean in this one of a kind pearl and starfish brooch.
I created this OOAK Steampunk brooch from a rescued vintage gentleman's watch movement to which I added a sterling silver starfish charm with realistic detail and suspended from that a small genuine cream cultured pearl with sterling silver findings. The movement is so decorative with the components on show and the wheels still go round.
I love to repurpose unwanted or broken items into beautiful wearable jewellery to give them a new life as newly loved wearable pieces.
The brooch measures a demure 2.5 cms in diameter and has a roll over clasp to the back.
As this brooch has small parts it is not suitable for younger children.
Will come presented in an organza bag to keep safe or to give as a gift.
