Full description
Inspired by a pomegranate , I have made seed pod stud earrings using copper and sterling silver. The shape of the earring has been made with copper and has been left in its shiny state but will darken with time. To give the silver and copper seeds more depth, I have used oxidisation to darken the copper that they are soldered to. These earrings sit neatly on the earlobe so that the round part of the earring is at the top and the storks are at the bottom.
They are 1cm in diameter and 1.3cm in length. The ear posts and butterfly backs are sterling silver.
Posted first class in a cardboard gift box and tied with a ribbon ready to give .
