Hi, a warm welcome to the Dragon Art Glass shop on Folksy. I'm Andrea, a full time glass addict (oops, artist!) living and working in the valleys of South Wales. I've had a little shop here on Folksy since about 2016, but can also often be found at local craft markets and in my studio in Senghenydd.
I always aim to send out orders as quickly as possible, (often within a day), but please be aware that I post only via Royal Mail.
To make things easier for you, I can gladly gift wrap any presents, add a hand-written note and send them directly to the recipient at no extra charge – just leave me a note and details when you checkout.
If you have any questions, then feel free to reach out and get in touch. Thank you for looking (and if you should decide to purchase , a huge thank you!)
I make a woodland series of animal suncatchers, and regularly stock foxes, badgers and hedgehogs.
I've also added koalas to the list (I thought they would look nice in my eucalyptus tree).
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Fox suncatchers have been made to this pattern for many years now at Dragon Art Glass, and as they are hand cut, each turns out slightly different. They have proved themselves popular with my customers, and I try and keep a few in stock at all times.
I am convinced though that the kiln fairies fiddle about with the eyes when the kiln has closed, as quite often they have moved when I go to take them out.
I have two that are 'Perfectly Imperfect' - somewhere along the line those blooming kiln fairies replaced my usual rounded black eyes with rounded iridised eyes, which when fused and light reflected from the front of the piece, makes the eyes look square. When light shines through the fox head from behind, you wouldn't see the square as the iridised area is within the eye circle.
They are made of a gorgeous vibrant orange glass, and have a vanilla cream coloured muzzle and small black eyes and nose.
both are roughly the same size,
Height - 10cm
Width - 12cm
Each has a fused in hanger to which is attached a piece of ribbon.
My foxes, like most of my items listed are ready to ship. All my glass items are handmade by myself in my studio in the valleys of South Wales
