Full description
For centuries specific colours, herbs and minerals have been attributed with certain astrological properties.Culpepper used the planetary and zodiacal correspondences of herbs to devise his medicines. Alchemists and magicians studied these properties to develop their work and elixirs. Incense makers passed on their knowledge of the astrological correspondances of plants and gums in their recipes. In the spirit of these ancient traditions we have designed our 12 Zodiac Candles using the correct Zodia, planetary and element correspondances for each Zodiac month, using blends of natural plant oils and extracts to produce exotic fragrances and brilliant colours. Made of a paraffin and natural wax blend, each Zodiac Candle has it's own unique blend of three layers of hand poured and patterned colour and fragrance.
Aquarius, January 20th to February 18th:
Planetary Ruler – Saturn: lead grey, scented with essential oils of pine, vetivert, myrrh and khuskhus perfume.
Zodiac sign – Aquarius: violet, scented with essential oils of pine, pine needle, frankinscense and juniper berry.
Element – Air: yellow, scented with essential oils of lemongrass and sage, sandalwood blend and gum elmi.
Size: 20mm diameter x 225mm high approx.
