Waking up to see the silhouette of an owl outside the window before it took flight.
It isn't the first encounter I have had with an owl - in a place I lived a while back, on a farm, there was a disused barn... I heard one day soft snoring like sounds. Thinking it might be a person I crept up the rickety old ladder - it was a family of barn owls. The snoring was the hissing sound the babies made!! They nested in the barn every year and I spent many dusky evenings watching them from afar.

Little owl flying free.
Silver owl necklace hand cut by myself. This little owl is engraved with 'feathers' and two closed eyes.
The owl measures approx 1.7cm from wing tip to wing tip. It is made from eco silver which is 100% recycled - and the same quality as sterling silver.
The chain is approx 16 inch in the pic but I am happy to make longer so please do let me know on order what you would like. The chain has a handmade clasp.
This piece comes boxed and wrapped.
