A beautiful new large addition to our ever growing wooden duck collection. Scattered in a variety of different shaped and sized poppies, it is simply unique (not one will turn out the same) and will be very much loved. The perfect gift for your mum this Mother's Day, birthdays or just a little treat to add to your lovely home.

Each of these wooden ducks are ethically hand carved from bamboo root in Indonesia, where my supplier brags of it's fair trade. I then decorate each duck individually with paper images and seal it on. Each of these ornaments are then finished off with cute ruby red bow. Due to the handmade nature size and shape will vary slightly but will always be between 35-40cm in height.

These will look great in any room in your home, especially if it is floral or - even better - poppy themed, a few examples are: in your kitchen, living room, bedrooms and even bathrooms.

At the time I had purchased the wrong sized ducks and I ordered a lot of them! Yup, schoolgirl error! So I wanted to make them special and completely unique, something that people will think "Wow. Now that would look nice in my Kitchen".

It took a while for me to find the right design but after flicking through my papers - on one of my many sort outs! - I came across some poppies that had been pushed right to the back. I loved how different and individual each poppy was, I loved the realistic element of them. The second I saw them I knew they would be just perfect for my new large Wooden Ducks.
