As a very visual abstract artist I adore rich, vivid colours. Painting on silk is a great way to create beautiful and wearable art that I hope you will love too :)

Gorgeous hand painted silk scarf in vintage style colours of lilac and olive.
I have used steam set dyes to create this very original scarf, every scarf that I paint will be a one-off as although I can use similar colours every pattern created will be unique with the way in which I paint them.
The silk is Pongee which is a light weight soft silk. The scarf measures 25cm wide by 150cm long if it was measured all the way round, please note this is an infinity scarf though so it is a continuous circle.
My scarves can be gently hand washed in cool water, then pat dry with a towel and iron on silk setting
