Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new design in 2016 to try a new variation of my favourite stained glass theme, a colourful sea scene, with the sea under the arch of a sunset moon.
The crescent moon in sunset colours curls round the sea. The sea is greens and blues and the sky shades of blue.
I think it is quite stunning and very special and hope you do too .
The ring is framed with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window.
It is 14-15 cm in diameter and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side o7th and f the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
The last picture shows a different colour variation with the moon as a rainbow instead of a sunset and with sunset sky. You can find that for sale as a separate listing.
