This ring is quite a statement!
I made this ring using a sheet of sterling silver, which I then hand sketched the shapes onto. I then used the traditional saw piercing method to create the triangle shapes. To do this, I drilled a little hole through where each triangle was to be, then fed a fine saw blade through the hole and began sawing out each one of the shapes individually. Once all of the triangles were perfected I cut out the main geometric shape, ready to solder onto the ring shank.
The ring itself is also made from sterling silver- I used D shaped wire so that the inside of the ring is comfortable against the skin.
Once I had soldered everything together, I gave the whole ring a modern, brushed polish finish. It was then barrel polished to bring to a shine.
The widest point of the ring measures 4.5cm.
