I use old and damaged books to make paper bunting - an alternative way to view these beautiful illustrations which would otherwise be hidden away. The lovely bird drawings were from a vintage guide to British birds.
This bunting is shown hanging in the centre of the group photo.

Full description
10 pages of pretty illustrations of British birds made into a length of bunting. Included are the strong coloured crow and starling, and smaller finches and sparrow painted in delicate browns and greens. As the images / pages are double-sided the bunting length can be hung so that it can be viewed from both sides.
Each page measures 11cm x 18cm and has been edged in dark green machine stitching which gives some strength to the paper. These are stitched to to a matching bottle green cotton binding 2cm apart giving a total length of 190cm (includes 30cm each end for tying).
