Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
Bees in the garden are so fascinating to watch. Who can resist a fuzzy little bee?

Embroidered Bee Brooch
A sweet little Textile Bumble Bee, embroidered using a method Called Free Motion Machine Embroidery and Appliqué.
Brooch is made from cotton fabrics, Appliquéd onto Felt backing, with a brooch pin to enable you to fix to clothing, bags or accessories to add details of interest.
Measures approximately 4.5 x 3.5 cm
Designed and made in my lovely sunny Sewing room in the heart of my home in County Durham, with lots of thought and care for details and would make a pretty little gift for friends or family.
As each one is handmade, pattern placement of fabrics and stitching may differ slightly from those pictured, but this will give each one an individual personality.
