Ladybird books are such an iconic part of a British childhood. The book used in this bunting is from the 1950s and has some beautiful illustrations showing a lifestyle mostly forgotten.
Mick the Disobedient Puppy is the bunting hanging at the bottom in the photos.

Full description
A length of paper bunting made from an entire (1950s) vintage Ladybird book - Mick the Disobedient Puppy.
There are 25 triangular flags measuring 10cm x 17cm each cut from a singular page, hung 2cm apart, giving a total length of 380cm (includes 30cm each end for tying). The images hang to the front and the story to the back.
The flags are edged with machine stitching in a dark navy and matched to a cotton binding in the same colour. The stitching gives some strength and definition to the paper and emphasises the colour of the pages.
A lovely gift for someone who remembers old Ladybird books and their lovely illustrations.
