The mis-tit is unique to the environment of Downend in Bristol, nowhere else to be found and they tend to join together to murmurate in January to February after which they fly off to new homes within the Uk and sometimes further afield. :)

This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Read the Folksy Returns Policy.

Full description

This purchase is for one or groups of hanging mis-tit glass birds, suspended on a length of strong nylon string. They have a blue/black head with a brown tummy.

Postage is included in the cost in the UK. For international and Europe posting please message me for the cost.

This is a limited edition batch so once they are gone they are gone.

Each Tit is roughly 7cm by 4cm.

This little fella would look beautiful hung in a window or suspended from the ceiling in the corner of a room, or even up against a wall. It is sunlight and water resistant, perfect for the window, conservatory, bathroom, kitchen or even outside in a wind sheltered position.

Kiln forming is a process where glass is layered and then heated in a kiln to a temperature where the glass melts and the layers fuse together. I use glass sheet and glass powder to make my birds. They have been digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety in my studio in Bristol.
