Dry Stone is a lovely scarf, handwoven in my little home in the Derwent Valley.
The scarf has been finished by hand, hem stitched with plaited tassels.
Made with British Wool, a blend of Kent lambswool, Manx Loaghtan, Shetland and Jacob wool.
The scarf is soft and will be ultra cosy to wear.
Measures 9.25" wide and 64" long including the tassels.
Suitable for everyday wear by both men and women.
Perfect as a gift or treat for yourself.
Hand wash only, roll in a towel and hang to air dry. Cool iron if necessary.
Simple pleasures, for me, turn every day into a special day. No matter what I do or where I go I look for nature's beauty and here, in Derbyshire there's always something scenic to admire, even at this time of year. What stood out for me recently were the numerous dry stone walls that are in abundance throughout the dales and Peak District. They are an accomplishment to a bygone era and a work of art. I find them beautiful and always fascinated how each piece fits so intricately together.
