Full description
A piece of felt made from various coloured woollen fibres, topped with multicoloured silk fibres and glittery angelina fibre has been used to make this brooch or corsage. Included in Seconds Sunday as an end of line item. The felt has been wet felted by me and then cut and sewn into shape. The brooch is slightly conical and has a floral form. The edges have been finished with a blanket stitch using a pink embroidery floss. An "antique copper" large filigree effect bead has been added to the centre. The reverse of the brooch has been covered with a grey commercial felt and a silver tone brooch back added.
The brooch measures approximately 8cm (3") diameter.
