This gorgeous night light/tea light holder is a red roofed cottage with a dinky lamp at the side and little windows. Measures approx 6 to 7 inches.
Red Roof Cottage is made from a mix of Uroboros ring mottle glass, Wissmach glass and Spectrum glass. Each make of glass has a different texture or opacity. The solder lines are stained with black patina to enhance the colours and give it a real story book drawing feel.
The main body of the glass is soldered to a black ceramic tile to hold the candles.
It's advisable to use battery operated flicker tea lights for the best effect and the safest option.
Lights shown are not included.
Inspired by the Art Deco designer, Clarice Cliff. The orange roof cottage was one of her best designs, and there's a cosy little tea light lamp here begging for a dark corner to nestle in. I've included a photo here of a different lamp illuminating one of my corner cupboards to show you how versatile this lamp is.
Who doesn't want their own little fairy tale cottage night light, lighting the way on those dark evenings. Place in your bedroom, living room, or in dark cupboard where it will really come into its own.
Made from a mix of orange and cream opaque glass, black patina finish with a porcelain tile to hold the candles. Height approx 3 to 4 inches.
