These broken characters pull at my heart strings, I wanted to repair, recreate and share them.

Full description
Handmade Doll Brooch Fleur - Red Breton Girl Pin, this tiny Dollie face brooch is a handmade replica of a real broken antique doll head from my collection. The original head is dirty and unloved, having been discarded and buried as rubbish almost a hundred years ago.
Her face was so sweet and charming that I had to give her a new life, she's ready for a city break in her chic breton top.
Unlike most of my brooches, Fleur is in profile, so she is just like a cameo. She has light red hair, brown eyes and a pink floral headband.
Fleur is carefully hand-painted with acrylic paint and soft pastels. Several coats of ceramic sealer have been applied to protect the painted finish.
There is a 20mm rollover safety brooch pin at the back, which has been securely attached with epoxy glue. Fleur is approximately 30mm wide, and 40mm tall.
Due to the nature of handmade items no two are exactly the same, making each brooch an individual, as you can see from the last photo!
Fleur wouldn't like to go swimming, and should be protected from heavy showers of rain.
Fleur will come to you on a gift card, as shown. You will receive the exact brooch shown in the first three photos only.
