Full description

Colourway: Belle

Base: Standard Sock

Fibre: Merino wool / nylon

Yarn Weight: 4ply / fingering

Skein weight: 100g

Length: Approx 400m

Colour: multiple tones of red, green, gold ochre, pink, orange, off white.

The yarn is dyed by hand using professional grade acid dyes.

The base is 75% superwash merino blended with 25% nylon for extra strength and durability. It is a soft and springy hard-wearing yarn, designed for items that will be worn and washed a lot.

I do my best to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. All photographs are taken in natural light and do not have filters added. Please be aware that colour accuracy can vary on different monitors and devices.

The yarn is dyed in batches and as with all hand dyed yarns, no two skeins are exactly identical. If you are using more than one skein for a project, I would recommend alternating skeins regularly to create an evenly blended overall effect.

Steps are taken during the dyeing process to ensure the colour is steadfast, however a small amount of colour run may occur during washing. I recommend washing with similar colours or on it’s own for the first wash. As the yarn is superwash treated, it is suitable for machine washing, but for best results and to ensure longevity I would recommend hand washing.
