Full description
Hand carved and hand printed oak leaf and acorn lino print in black ink on recycled cotton khadi paper.
The oak is a symbol of endurance and strength and the acorn of potential and prosperity.
I was inspired to make this print after telling my son of the custom of putting an acorn in your pocket in the autumn and keeping it there until spring to bring good fortune, then later finding an acorn that he'd sneaked into my coat pocket.
Printed on recycled cotton khadi paper with deckled edges all round and a lovely texture.
This print is unmounted and can be framed as it is, showing off the edges of the handmade paper or you could frame it with a mount.
Printed in black Cranfield Caligo ink.
Print size: 11cm x 15cm approx
Please note as each print is made by hand, there may be slight variations from the featured photo.
Print will be sent with recycled card backing in a biodegradable protective sleeve.
