Full description
I pieced together lots of fabric offcuts into patchwork squares to make this bag, it was lengthy work but the result is very pretty! I then machine quilted it with diagonal rows onto a layer of wool to give the bag some body and maintain its shape. Lined with a beautiful modern paisley print cotton. I stitched a ring into one of the inside seams which can be used to attach keys etc.
It has a flap at the top and fastens with a loop around a large button covered with vintage embroidery. Bag measures 30cm across the top and 25cm high. The base has been boxed and is 10cm deep. It has short handles which measure 33cm and are made from strong furnishing fabric.
