After the first craft fair I ever attended, I was asked if I could do a stained glass mobile!.
Good idea, I thought, but rather risky. First, I don't know anything about making stained glass, and secondly, what if it fell on someone?
It was such a good idea though that it bugged me. I did some research (much of it on Ebay late at night!). I discovered glass painting, ordered some paint, and started experimenting on acetate sheet, instead of glass.
These sunflowers were the result, and turned out to be a best seller!

When hung correctly from a height, this product is safe. This product is NOT a toy and must not be handled by young children. 'Invisible' nylon thread does not break easily and can therefore cause harm if wound round part of the body or chewed. The wires have rounded ends but could cause harm if misused.

Full description
A touch of summer sunshine all year round! These sunflowers look as though they are made from stained glass, but they are light weight and safe to hang. They look great hung where light can shine through them, and their almost constant movement can throw moving patterns of yellow light on walls and floors.
They look particularly good in the kitchen, conservatory, or anywhere where you sit to relax and unwind. Try hanging it from the curtain rail in front of a window - you can still close the curtains because it will hang quietly between them until you open them in the morning.

Dimensions:
The sunflowers are approximately 9cm diameter
The mobile is approximately 40cm wide and 60cm long
It will need to be hung at least 25cm from anything it could touch in order for it to move freely.
Packaging:
I use recyclable card postage boxes and recycled shredded paper packing. I include instructions to help you get it hung safely and even a hook to hang it from!
