A Christmas card with an original lino-cut print based on an eighteenth century house called Nantwallter cottage. The image is printed on paper and enhanced with red acrylic paint and touches of glitter and mounted on brown craft card with a matching envelope. The card has been left blank for your own message and measures 14.8cm by 10.5cm. Postage and packing is included with this item.
The image on this card was inspired by a visit to St Fagan's Museum of Welsh History near Cardiff. Nantwallter cottage was built to house farm workers around 1770 in Taliaris, Carmarthenshire, but was dismantled and rebuilt in the museum in the 1990s. I love the craft of lino-cutting and i'm using it to create images of buildings I came across when i lived in south Wales.
