Full description
Colourful Dragonfly Brooch all handstitched using bead embroidery techniques.
How its made:-
The image is transferred onto a white base know as a beading foundation. The dragon fly outline and body is then all handstitched using bead embroidery techniques using a variety of Czech and Toho seed beads and crystals in varying sizes.
There is an array of colours from purple, red, gold, turquoise and lilac. A number of purple rondelle crystals are set in the wings and at the head.
I have hand crafted the wire work antennas.
The final stages are to carefully trim around the stitching and glue on a purple suede backing and brooch back.
Approx dimensions 7.5cm (including antennas) wide and 4cm deep.
The Dragonfly symbolizes transformation and adaptability.
Comes presented in an organza bag and wrapped in tissue paper.
