This luxurious long slim scarf has been made using Liberty of London's gorgeous silk velvet. The Isadora design, named after the dancer Isadora Duncan who was a contemporary of Liberty's founder Sir Arthur Lasenby, is based on a watercolour painted in Liberty’s own studio. The peacock feather motif was popular in the Aesthetic Movement of the 1880s.
The silk velvet has a lovely soft feel and a wonderfully fluid drape making it a pleasure to wear.
The interweaving fronds of the peacock feathers in purple, blue and gold are on a black background.
The scarf is approximately 220cm (88") long and 16cm (6.25") wide
