I found some vintage yarn for sale that was used in one of my pattern books from the 70's so I bought it and decided to use it for this baby jacket. Lots of patterns for baby jackets back then were in this sort of style and I can remember knitting them for my children.

Full description
This handmade baby jacket is knitted in a vintage yarn from a vintage pattern. The yarn contains mohair giving it a slight fluffy feel to it. The ribbed pattern makes it quite thick so it will be nice and warm. The jacket has a hood and ties at the neck with a twisted cord.
Colour - dusky pink
Yarn - 75% acrylic 20% mohair 5% wool
Size - 3mths
Measurements - chest 52cm, length 29cm, sleeve 17cm
Washing - machine washable 30 degrees
