This vintage inspired bridal hat is made from wool felt, which has been carefully covered in a dainty polka dot tulle, and adorned with my handmade silk organza roses. Perfect for a vintage style bride and wedding!

With detachable Merry Widow veiling, this headpiece will glide seamlessly from day time to evening. It was designed to be worn either on the left or the traditional right side of your head, and is held in place with white hat elastic.

I create all of my hats using traditional couture millinery techniques, including a hand blocked button shape base (approx 15.5cm diameter), and fully hand-stitched right from the beginning - including sewing in the internally wired rim, my signature vintage silk scarf lining, and also the attaching of the delicate tulle by hand.

The three silk roses were created using a deep ivory silk organza with hand rolled petals stitched together around sinamay stamens. Finished with an ivory petersham inner band, this hat will sit comfortably all day long.

The veiling is attached to small metal clips on each end, so that it can be positioned correctly in your hair after the hat has been put in place, and removed whenever you wish during the day.
