Full description

A made to order large fat bellied glass bird suspended on a length of strong nylon string or the 2mm hole is large enough to hang on the wall with a picture pin nail. It can take up to seven days to complete before posting so if it is urgent let me know and I will see what I can do for you.

This bird is 6 inches wide x 5 inches high.

I have the following colours that you can choose from.

red

orange

yellow

dark blue

green

Each bird varies slightly as they are made by hand.

This bird would look beautiful hung in a window or suspended from the ceiling in the corner of a room, or up against a wall. It is sunlight and water resistant, perfect for the window, conservatory, bathroom and kitchen.

Kiln forming is a process where glass is layered heated in a kiln to a temperature where the glass melts and the layers fuse together. I use glass sheet and glass powder to make my birds. They have been digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety in my studio in Bristol.
