I'm Ellen and I hand craft silver jewellery from my garden studio on the West Sussex coast.
Influenced by ancient cultures, geology, inspiring quotes and travel adventures! My work features lots of metal marking such as hand stamping, hammering and fusing all using 100% recycled sterling silver and natural gemstones.
ORDERING INFO: All jewellery comes presented in my branded white boxes and is posted via Royal Mail in letterbox sized boxes (apart from rings - these boxes are just too deep!). If your jewellery is being made to order the item listing will give you a timeframe and my working days are Monday - Friday.
POSTAL INFO: Most items will get posted out from the studio within 48 hours unless otherwise stated. You can choose your preferred method at the checkout.
Making this collection of jewellery came from my love of the quote 'mighty oaks from little acorns grow'. I applied the symbolism to when I first started my self-employed jewellery making journey which is where the acorn charms first came to life!
Since then I've sold items as teachers gifts, graduation gifts and so many more stories of people starting new beginnings!

Full description
A trio of charms cluster together on this nature inspired necklace. It includes my solid silver acorn charm that has been cast from a tiny wax model and carefully antiqued to bring out the detail.
The tree charm is made using a print of one of my original ink illustrations. It is sealed underneath a glass cabochon and then set into the silver using traditional stonne setting techniques.
The orange stone is a faceted carnelian bead that sits between the two charms. They are all secured to a small silver loop that connects to a sterling silver trace chain which closes with a bolt ring clasp. All the links securing the chain are soldered closed for peace of mind.
The standard chain length is 18 inches (46cm) but you can always request an alternative.
The charms measure between 1cm - 1.4cm.
This necklace comes presented in a branded gift box and will post in a thin, cardboard box that fits through most standard letterboxes.
