I bought the book that this pattern was in when I started knitting for my grandchildren and was impressed with the beautiful yarn used. It feels really silky so thought I would knit this retro hat as the earflaps keep babies warm.

A handmade retro style baby hat knit in a luxury yarn containing silk and cashmere. The hat fastens with a button under the chin.

Yarn - 75% extra fine merino 20% silk 5% cashmere
Size - 6-12mths
Measurements - head circumference 34cm
Washing - machine wash delicate 30 degrees
