Due to family commitments, Plum Porridge will be closed for the whole of December this year, which means that the last day I am able to accept orders in 2024 will be FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER.
I save all the fabric off cuts from my other projects and join them together to make patchwork, sometimes in squares and sometimes more randomly like this cushion. Lengthy work, but very satisfying!

Full description
This cushion has been made from many pieces of cotton and poly/cotton fabrics left over from other projects and put to good use instead of being thrown away.
Once I had stitched all the pieces together to make the patchwork fabric, I backed it with fleecy fabric and sewed rows of diagonal stitching all over to achieve a slightly quilted effect. I have backed the over with a beautiful roses print cotton fabric and the back fastens with loops and three black buttons.
It measures about 14 inches square and will be supplied complete with a fibre filled cushion.
All the fabrics used for this cover were laundered beforehand to minimise any future shrinkage and I would recommend cool hand wash and natural drying.
This item is one of a kind and is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. I use recycled packaging where I can. I'll combine postage on multiple purchases if possible, so please see my other items and excellent reviews.
