I have lots of patterns from the 60's and 70's which I knit for my children and later for my grandchildren. I decided to try knitting this one in a modern wool and was pleased with the result.

Full description
A honeycomb patterned child's jacket knit from a vintage pattern but in a modern chunky yarn. The all over honeycomb pattern gives a lovely texture to the garment. It has a ribbed shawl collar and cuffs two pockets and the matching hat has a folded rib brim. The pattern was for age 5 years but as children vary in size actual measurements are given.
Colour - white with green and blue speckles
Yarn - 100% acrylic
Size - 5 years
Measurements - chest 70cm, length 48cm, sleeve 32cm, head cicumference 36cm
Washing - machine washable at 30 degrees
